Here are a few suggestions to help you receive the most impact from a Bill Malone performance. We hope this information is helpful!
Location: Preferably indoors but can also be performed outside when proper sound and lighting is available.
View: An unobstructed view for all audience members is very important! Be sure the centerpieces on the tables do not restrict the view.
Stage: When the group size is more than 100 a platform or riser is recommended however in some cases can still be performed without. For smaller groups a dance floor or any area everyone can see will work as well. For larger groups, 200 or more, there shouldn’t be any empty space between the riser and the audience. Dance floors set between the audience and the performer when an audience is this size makes it very hard for the performer to connect. If a dance floor is present when the group is large please call to discuss. The size of the platform can be anywhere from 6’x6’ or bigger.
Audience seating: To insure the best show possible it is very important that the group is as close to the stage as possible.
Lighting: House lights should be brought up to the point that facial expressions of audience members can be seen by their peers.
Required: One clip-on microphone. Bill cannot use a handheld because his hands need to be free during performance. If hard wired, the cord needs to be long enough for Bill to walk out into the audience.
Length of show: Anywhere from 10 minutes to 90 minutes. The average show for most after dinner events is between 30 to 45 minutes

PLATFORM PLACEMENT
When possible if the room is not square the platform should
always be placed in the middle of the longest wall (as shown)
The audience should be fanned in front of the stage close up as possible
